The NCAA Philippines Centennial was a milestone celebration of the biggest collegiate sporting event in the country. In September 2024, the body honored exceptional athletes in their respective sports, including Nashspinner, who was recognized for leading his alma mater, College of St. Benilde—De La Salle University, to consecutive championships and winning the MVP Award in Table Tennis for five straight years.

The Tale Of A Binay Cup Baby!

Nashspinner, at 16, winning the 28th Binay Cup Men’s Open Championships dubbed as the country’s biggest Table Tennis tournament.

Take a peek into one highlight in Nashspinner’s Table Tennis career. In 2014, Nashspinner achieved his first major milestone in Competitive Table Tennis when he won the Men’s Open Event in arguably the country’s biggest tournament at the time—the Binay Cup.

It took seven long years to cook the coveted Binay Cup Men’s Open crown! What made the victory so special was the fact that he had completed his quest, that started in 2007, for the gold across all age groups, in that prestigious tournament.

The day the kid turned into a man!

For the 16-year-old incoming college freshman and his dad-cum-handler, it was a heady reward that they both savored like a 100-year-old Barolo.

Philippines Best Of The Best Table Tennis 2018

MANILA, PHI — NASHSPINNER (PHI) beat two fellow Philippine Team players to take home the Gold Medal in Men’s Open Event in the “BEST OF THE BEST TABLE TENNIS” held last January 26-28, 2018 at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Manila.

The yearly Table Tennis Event dubbed “BEST OF THE BEST”, organized by the Philippine Table Tennis Federation (PTTF), is an encounter among Philippine National Team Players, UAAP/NCAA Standouts, and Promising Junior players in the country.

Nashspinner, 5-time NCAA Table Tennis MVP

MANILA, PHI — The DLS-College of St. Benilde Blazers Men’s Team, with the 5-time Coach of the Year Rudolph Bong Palermo at the helm, is the NCAA Season 94 Table Tennis Champion (2018) for the 5th consecutive year.

NASHSPINNER sets an NCAA record by winning his 5th MVP Award powering the DLS-CSB Blazers to its historic 5-PEAT!

The Blazers were led by DLS-CSB officials Stephen Fernandez, Leonard Babiera, Raymond Castellano, and Dindo De Leon.
